By harnessing employee voices, behavioral science, and creativity, we sparked a cultural shift that redefined how 60,000 people think, feel and activate their careers.

The challenge.

Our client wanted to transform the way their people viewed career development – from a one-off performance conversation to a shared, everyday experience.

The goal? To shift perceptions from “you own your career” to “your career is a partnership”, with the employee in the driving seat and the company riding shotgun.

While the organization’s talent was world-class, many employees felt disconnected from the world of opportunity that existed. We needed to reignite curiosity, confidence and connection at scale.

Our approach.

Listening as an experience, not an exercise.

We began with Shape, an interactive global listening experience that invited employees to co create the change. Over 20 global workshops and 100 breakouts, more than 500 employees shared their stories, ambitions, frustrations and ideas.

In these high-energy, psychologically safe sessions, employees became partners in shaping the new strategy. Turning raw feedback into powerful insight and advocacy.

From insight to action.

Using our insights, we identified three priority career drivers: improved networking, enhanced coaching and clearer pathways.

To drive adoption of these new solutions across the business, we designed a transformation journey to prime three target behaviors – curiosity, courage and collaborations. These became the focus of a transformation journey, designed using the COM-B model of human behavior to ensure every intervention was grounded in science and human truth.

Together with 100 of the original Shapers, we explored barriers, tested ideas, and empowered advocates to localise messaging and drive conversation within their teams, embedding change from the inside out.

The creative platform.

The insights inspired a bold, unifying platform: “It’s Your Career. Let’s….” – a rallying call to encourage ownership and partnership.

We developed a refreshed brand identity, digital experience, and campaign toolkit, transforming career development into something visible, accessible and inspiring.

Using light and shadow to symbolise potential, the creative captured the idea that with the right support from the Grow Your Career team, people can reveal what’s inside and grow into the careers they choose.

Bringing it to life.

The program came to life through a series of memorable activations that encouraged exploration and ownership, including:

  • The 20-Day Networking Challenge to build confidence and connection
  • One-to-one and group career coaching
  • A skills inventory and career exploration app

We also launched Career Curiosity – a global campaign encouraging employees to ask better questions, spark conversations and explore new paths, rolled out across digital channels, offices and events worldwide.
